Trasparenze has always been known as the king of kings when it comes to women’s hosiery namely stockings and tights. Luxurious designs, quality material and rather good marketing campaigns have served them well in the past. One can not help wonder though if they are trying to branch out but doing it in a half hearted fashion.
One look at their website will reveal pages and pages of gorgeous stocking, stay ups and tights. We then move to their shirt section and I see nothing special. There are about ten designs, ( don’t be fooled as the same designs appear on different pages ) that do not seem to excel themselves. I would of liked to see more pictures.
Their lingerie section actually has nothing in it. Lets be fair, maybe I am hitting their website at the wrong time of the year and they are currently updating it for their Spring / summer 2010 colleciton which I am looking forward to seeing by the way. Personally I feel that Trasparenze should stay to doing what they do best. Luxury women’s tights and stockings.
If you are looking for top notch sexy lingerie then take my word for it that Bordelle is the place to go. Their designs are so cutting edge and ooze sexiness from every stitch and cut. Their current collections are staying away from the now retro in look and it is a change to see black, whites and reds being used to make a women feel like she is the most beautiful woman in the world.
They must be getting something right as women from all over the world are buying their sexy lingerie in their New York, Paris, Berlin and London stores. Try not to shop from their website as it is a bit slow but go to the website anyway to see the fabulous designs that they are churning out to make women feel instantly sexy.
With stocks due to hit stores on the 5th December namely H & M, as this is who she has partnered with Sonia had to make an impression to match the outstanding achievements that H&M managed of their previous collaboration with Jimmy Choo. A great deal of care, attention of elaborate details went in today show which has took the lingerie world by storm. Horses, swings, chandeliers and beds were just a few of the props used.
The new collection on first appearance seems very dull with a major lack of lace, bows and tie ups that seem to adorn a lot of the other current retro trends. I did however warm to her new designs upon closer inspection, namely the underwear that was appearing on the runway all in black. Simple but elegant and striking is how I would sum it up.
I have not normally taken notice of Sonia Rykiel before however it looks now that she is trying to expand her customer base. Why I don’t know as she has achieved that much success up to now that other lingerie designers can only dream of. If that is what you want to do though Sonia then good on you. The eyes of the lingerie world are now on you.
Ladies lingerie models earn a lot of money and get to wine and dine with the rich and famous. I am insanely jealous of them because of this, however I do admire them for being able to do the job they do. The job of a ladies lingerie model is not advertised at your local job center. It is extremely hard to be photographed half naked and not feel self conscious about it. I couldn’t do the job so lets give credit where it is due, to the top ten ladies lingerie models of all time.
I am looking forward to 2010. Romantic lingerie is going to take on a new concept with the latest gossip that Bar Refaeli is going to be the face of Passionata’s summer collection.
Whilst I am not a big fan of their products, I am looking forward to seeing next years collection which is all about romantic lingerie.
Bar Refaeli is the best choice to front the campaign.
She screams romance and team this model with elegantly designed romantic lingerie and I think we are going to see the best collection of summer lingerie to hit the stores in years. I can’t wait.
